Over DAR!

For much of July I will be in the town of Druskininkai in Lithuania as part of a residency organised by Sound and Music and DAR (Druskininkai Artists’ Residence) writing a piece for the talented Brevis Choir, which I am quite excited about. I’m looking forward to the chance to meet some new people, spend concentrated time writing, do a bit of exploring, and find out who on earth this chap is…

Music We’d Like to Hear spins around this July once more making the summer that bit brighter.

As usual, they’ve put together some unmissable programmes (my problem being that I will miss them all!).

On Friday 10th July ensemble we’d like to hear play harmoniphon vexed alongside new pieces by a stellar bunch: Joanna Bailie, Sarah Hughes, Dominic Lash, Amber Priestley and Paul Whitty.
